The first few After Effects workshops really allowed me to become familiar with the software and see the direction and limitations within it. This also introduced me to keyboard shortcuts which would become the mains tools used in the organisation and planning within the entire piece.
We initially looked into solid shapes and resizing them to follow a timeline of events. This also introduced me to Adobe Media Encoder and how QuickTime videos could be converted into MP4. A format that is accepted by web coding.
This final workshop gave the tools needed to go off to develop and deliver. This introduced type into the mix and the variety of ways in which it could be manipulated to create a unique composition. This was the point in which I started to get an idea which direction I wanted my project to go in.
